Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our sober living home.

Sober living is a supportive, substance-free housing environment for individuals in recovery from addiction. It provides structure, community, and accountability to help residents maintain sobriety while transitioning back to independent living.

Our home is open to adults who are committed to sobriety and willing to follow our house guidelines. We welcome people transitioning from treatment programs, those seeking a stable recovery environment, and anyone ready to live in a sober community.

Our core rules include zero tolerance for substance use, respect for all residents, participation in weekly house meetings, maintaining cleanliness, observing curfew and quiet hours, and contributing to shared household responsibilities.

Please call us directly at (312) 291-1216 to discuss current rates and payment options. We strive to keep our housing accessible and can discuss what works for your situation.

No, sober living is not a treatment program. We provide a structured living environment that supports recovery, but we do not offer clinical treatment, therapy, or medical services. Many residents attend outside meetings, counseling, or outpatient programs.

There is no strict time limit. Most residents stay for several months to a year or more, depending on their recovery goals and readiness to transition to fully independent living. We work with each resident individually.

We offer peer support through a community of like-minded individuals, regular house meetings, accountability partnerships, and connections to local recovery resources. Our environment is designed to help you build the habits and relationships that support long-term sobriety.

Visitors are allowed with advance approval and during designated hours. All guests must be sober and respectful of the house community. Overnight guests are generally not permitted to maintain the integrity of the recovery environment.
